Chaos Sister artwork

I'm not one for drawing fanart. However, when model making and conversion is considered, it can be very useful as a concept design process. Here are a couple of Chaos Sisters. One for Khorne and the other for Iron Warriors. A member on the Bolter and Chainsword forums mentioned that the Iron Warrior techmarine reminds him of the Borg from Star Trek.

Here is a link to my Deviant Art page:  http://akiyama24.deviantart.com/

Iron Warriors Iron Prince

With the eventual success of uploading pics (yay!) here is another set of images, this time centering around my Iron Warriors Iron Prince. In game he counts as a Daemon Prince. Because I wanted to go with a technological theme, I used the Grey Knight Nemesis Dreadknight as a base. Brief background. The Warsmith had lost his arms and legs in a battle, and refusing to be entombed inside a Dreadnought was hard-wired onto a salvage Dreadknight instead.

Twenty-four hours conversion work in total, eight hours painting in total. Sorry about the slightly blurry photos.

Iron Warrior Techmarine

*Edit ... I had trouble trying to add images a while back. Though I've been busy lately, I thought I might have a crack at trying to upload the pics ... looks likes it worked.)

Okay, I started this blog over a fortnight ago, and this is the second post? Talk about lazy. Anyway, Marcus from A Plague Spreads suggested I post some pictures. And since I've been uploading images on my Deviantart account for the past few hours I figured why not add some pics to the blog.

The Iron Warriors have the honour of being the first official post with the first official pictures. The model is a Space Marine Techmarine with an old Chaos Warrior arm and Imperial Guard bolt pistol. I used a pallete of eighteen colours on the model. It took a total of three hours to clean, pin and paint the model. (Not including drying time.)

First blog, first post

Hey and welcome to Akiyama's Conversion Corner. Witness the chaos as miniatures of plastic and metal are modified in brutally agonising methods to create great-looking conversions. Please feel free to post comments and feedback, just please do not troll. If you do, the local political officer will have a word or two. :P
